Travel Tips
- 1
The park is closed during monsoon (roughly June to October) due to Brahmaputra flooding. Plan accordingly.
- 2
Book both jeep safari and accommodation well in advance during peak season (November to April).
- 3
Bring binoculars for the safari — you will not regret it when spotting rhinos, elephants, tigers, and birds.
- 4
The road via NH27 is smooth and well-marked. Self-driving is very much feasible for this route.
- 5
Stop at Kaziranga Market near Kohora for authentic Assam silk items and local honey.
