Day 1

Guwahati to Shillong

Arrive in Guwahati and head to Shillong. Stop at Umiam Lake for boating and relaxation. Explore the Don Bosco Museum and Golf Course. Check in and browse Police Bazar in the evening.

Day 2

Shillong to Cherrapunjee

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee. Visit Elephant Falls, Mawdok Dympep Valley, Garden of Caves, Wakaba Waterfall, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Arwah Cave, Seven Sisters Waterfalls, and Eco Park.

Day 3

Nongriat Trek – Double Decker Root Bridge

Trek from Tyrna Village to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge, passing through lush forest and smaller root bridges along a 4–5 hour descent. Swim in the Blue Lagoon, then push on to Rainbow Falls — a secluded waterfall surrounded by dense jungle.

Day 4

Cherrapunjee to Dawki

Drive to Mawlynnong — Asia's Cleanest Village — visiting the Balancing Rock and the Single Living Root Bridge along the way. Stop at Borhill Waterfall before arriving in Dawki for a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River.

Day 5

Dawki to Jowai to Shillong

Drive through Jowai in the Jaintia Hills. Visit Laitlum Canyon, Phe Phe Waterfall, and the stunning turquoise pools of Krengsuri Waterfall before heading back to Shillong.

Day 6

Shillong to Emangiri (Garo Hills)

After breakfast, drive from Shillong to Emangiri in the Garo Hills, passing through the scenic Assam-Meghalaya countryside. Lunch at a local restaurant en route.

Overnight stay: Emangiri/Siju

Day 7

Explore Wari Chora & Jadisil Fish Sanctuary

Board a 4x4 Bolero for an off-road adventure to Wari Chora — a narrow, stunning gorge of turquoise-blue water cutting through dense forest. In the afternoon, visit the ecologically significant Jadisil Fish Sanctuary, where nature has been carefully protected by the local community.

Day 8

Wari Chora to Guwahati via Siju Cave

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive from the Garo Hills back toward Guwahati. En route, stop at the famous Siju Cave — a sprawling limestone cave with impressive stalactite formations and an underground river. Continue through rolling hills and countryside before reaching Guwahati.

Overnight stay: Guwahati (transit)

Day 9

Guwahati – Departure

Transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Nine days of gorges, glacial rivers, root bridges, and waterfalls — you've conquered Meghalaya in every way possible.
